Premium seafood exporter · Patagonia, Chile
An international presence for a product defined by origin.
Mar Austral Origin exports premium seafood from Chilean Patagonia to demanding markets in three languages. The challenge was building a formal digital presence that conveyed origin, quality and traceability to the international buyer.
The challenge
Mar Austral Origin has a differentiated product: premium seafood with traceable origin in Chilean Patagonia, a territory that already carries perceived value in international markets. The problem was that this identity had no digital representation at all: no website, no structured product information, no presence in the languages of its target markets.
A Japanese importer or an American distributor looking for quality suppliers expects to find certain standards before considering a commercial relationship. Without a website, Mar Austral Origin was out of that consideration from the first step.
What was built
A corporate site that speaks the international buyer’s language.
A corporate site from scratch
Full design and build of the site: visual identity aligned to the product, a corporate content structure and a correct technical base from day one.
Multiidioma ES · EN · JP
Three versions of the site in Spanish, English and Japanese. Each language with content adapted to its market, not just a literal translation. URLs structured per language.
Product catalogue
Product entries with origin, species, available presentations and certifications. The technical information an importer needs in order to evaluate a supplier.
Origin and traceability
A section dedicated to the Patagonian origin, the harvesting practices and the process. Origin is part of the product’s value — the site communicates it.
Certifications and standards
A certifications page with clear information on quality, export and food safety standards. Necessary for institutional buyers.
Contact for importers
A contact form specific to import enquiries: destination country, estimated volume, product type. A direct channel to the commercial team.
Why three languages
Spanish
Local and LATAM market
Chile, Peru, Argentina. A familiar commercial context, direct language, focused on presenting the company to regional distributors and buyers.
English
North American and European markets
USA, Canada, Europe. The international language of business. Institutional buyers expect to find technical information in English before any conversation.
日本語
Japanese market
Japan values Patagonian origin in seafood. A site in Japanese signals respect for the market’s culture and makes serious consideration easier.
Project status
Published and in operation.
The site is published and operating under Mar Austral Origin's final domain, receiving commercial enquiries in all three market languages.
